李长明 教授,博士生导师。美国医学与生物工程院院士,英国皇家化学学会会士,国家“千人计划”特评教授、西南大学洁净能源与先进材料研究院院长,重庆市洁净能源与先进材料实验室主任。1986年获武汉大学博士学位,曾就职于美国摩托罗拉公司,期间共获50多项发明专利,是美国摩托罗拉公司最高科学技术奖“美国摩托罗拉杰出发明人铂金徽章奖US Motorola Master Innovator Awards with Platinum badge)获得者之一。2003年起任职于新加坡南洋理工大学,曾任南洋理工大学终身正教授、生物工程系系主任、先进生物纳米系统中心主任。由于在研究和创新领域为新加坡南洋理工大学做出了杰出贡献,李教授曾获得南洋研究和创新奖 基于其在学术上的不懈追求和对生物医学、纳米科学的卓越贡献,教授于2010年被美国医学生物工程院遴选为院士(AIMBE Fellow)。他同时也是英国皇家化学学会杂志《RSC Advances》的副主编和《Nanoscale》的编委会成员,《功能材料》编辑委员会特聘编委(终身)。2011教授作为千人计划引进的海外高层次人才归国。教授来到西南大学工作后已获得如下重要荣誉:(1)英国皇家化学学会会士(Royal Society of Chemistry Fellow);(2)澳大利亚国立大学Craig访问教授;(3)中国侨界创新人才奖;(4)重庆市特聘专家;(5)重庆2012友谊奖。

李长明教授的研究领域集中在洁净能源(燃料电池、太阳能电池和锂离子电池)和先进材料(纳米材料、能源材料、生物材料、有机光电材料和化学/生物传感器材料)两个方面,先后主持了美国、澳大利亚、新加坡等国家的基金项目30多项,总经费约1200万新加坡元(约合6000万人民币),并与美国、英国、瑞士、新加坡、韩国、澳大利亚、中国、台湾、香港等国家和地区高校与研究所均有科研合作,并建立起了学生互派、共同培养研究生等多种实质性交流合作。先后发表了包含Nature Mater., Chem. Soc. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J.Am. Chem. Soc., Phys. Rev. Lett., Adv. Mater., Adv. Fuct. Mater., ACS Nano, Small等在内的高质量SCI文章近400, 拥有美国、新加坡和中国等专利100多项,其中一些亟待实现产业化推广。SCI 总引用愈8000次,H因子(H-Index)为48

在材料科学、工程、化学和生物/生物化学四个领域列入国际数据库(ISI)重要科学排名“全球前百分之一著名学者”,过去108ESI“全球千分之一高引用科学论文”,25ESI“全球百分之一高引用科学论文”。

因为领导的研究小组有着高水平的研究、优良的培训以及极强的海内外合作,李教授过去三年中在南洋理工大学培养的15名博士研究生中有7人已成为985211高校的教授或副教授,剩余的毕业生也在德国/新加坡的顶级研究机构中担任研究专家或工程师,或者在美国从事博士后研究工作。
